It All Started with Jane...
When Amanda first became a mom, she wrote a song out of desperation to soothe her fussy baby, Jane - and it worked! Naturally, they sang her song over and over (and over!) As Jane got older, whenever she wanted to hear her song, she would say, "Mama, sing my song!"
From Homes to Shark Tank...
Word quickly spread of her personalized lullaby, and with the encouragement of her family and friends, she created Mama Sing My Song in 2018. Over the next six years, she built a team of songwriters and singers, and together they wrote over ten thousand songs for children all over the world. The movement went viral and eventually landed them a spot on Shark Tank...
The passing of the baton...
In preparation for Shark Tank, more writers joined the team (that's when I came in!) Little did I know there was a deeper purpose embedded in the story, because just a year later, Amanda was ready to pass the baton. And in 2024, my husband and I gratefully took ownership of Mama Sing My Song.
I never could have imagined...
As a mom of three littles with a desire in my heart to impact the next generation through songs, I realize my purpose is here. It is my honor to tend to the hearts and minds of children. And as we continue to create songs full of truth and love, it is our biggest hope and mission that these words will remind them that they are forever seen, valued, and loved.
